Itinerary Details

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Akagera National Park

• Morning: Depart from your hotel or residence in Kigali at 5:00 AM for a scenic 2.5-hour drive to Akagera National Park. Enjoy views of Rwanda’s rolling hills and rural countryside along the way.
• Mid-Morning: Arrive at the park’s southern entrance, complete registration, and begin your first game drive. Explore the southern sector, home to diverse wildlife including elephants, giraffes, and antelopes.
