Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival and Cultural Experience

• Morning: Pick up from your hotel in Kigali and scenic drive to Volcanoes National Park.
• Mid-Morning: Arrive at your lodge for check-in and refreshment.
• Afternoon: Visit Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village to immerse yourself in Rwandan culture, including traditional dance, music, and crafts.
• Evening: Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking and Return to Kigali

• Early Morning: Enjoy an early breakfast at the lodge.
• 7:00 AM: Arrive at the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking rules and etiquette.
• Morning to Mid-Day: Guided trek into the forest to locate a gorilla family. Spend one hour observing and photographing these incredible creatures.
• Early Afternoon: Return to the lodge for lunch and check-out.
• Afternoon: Depart for Kigali, with a stop for refreshments en route.
• Evening: Arrive in Kigali and drop off at your hotel or Kigali International Airport.
